Board of Directors Meeting Notes

Financials were reviewed.
Management report
Katie brought up the issue of owners who had purchased a fourth pass prior to the reissue. The Board approved that if a homeowner had purchased a fourth pass (one of now-defunct passes) at a previous date, then a fourth pass (of those newly issued) can be issued to the current owner. (Katie will be able to verify the initial purchase of the fourth.)
Katie will follow up on the paving project to get updated bids for the paving project. The Board suggested that bids be in place for a decision at the September meeting.
After a review of the landscaping bids, The Board voted to accept the bid from N.C. Turfcare. Board members asked Katie to stress to the landscaper to put picking up trash and shrub trimming as top priorities. Board members asked Katie to get a quote from the landscaper for mulching along the Lineberry fence with the same color mulch used at the islands.
The board considered a proposal from a homeowner to plant ligustrum along the fence on Lineberry at the first entrance. Board members asked Katie to contact the homeowner and ask him to get costs and ideas for the project.
New business
The board decided to distribute door hangers with the parking policy printed on them as has been done in past years. The hangers will be distributed by August 1.
